Tailgate 'N Tallboys Music Festival Postponed Due to Bad Weather

BLOOMINGTON (25News Now) – The start of Tailgate N’ Tallboys in Bloomington will not take place Thursday evening as severe weather threatens the area.

In an update on Facebook, event organizers decided to postpone Cody Johnson “and all other acts in the show until further notice.”

The McLean County Emergency Management Agency says severe weather could include 70 to 90 mph winds, 2 to 4 inches of hail, lightning and heavy rain that could last past midnight.

Prevailing winds can begin as early as 4 p.m.

Everyone present is asked to be packed and ready to evacuate by 4 p.m.
