SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KCAU) — A large group of motorcyclists stopped in South Sioux City Thursday. They travel 900 miles for a good cause.

Ride for Veterans stopped at Siouxland Freedom Park during their highway trip from Wyoming to Wisconsin. James Greer started the group in 2021 to raise awareness of veteran suicide and show support for veterans across the United States.

“This convoy is to show our appreciation for our veterans,” Greer said, “and it’s also to make connections and show our appreciation for places like this.”

Riders will continue their journey an additional 450 miles over the weekend, ending in Milwaukee.
