Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves stopped in Olive Branch Thursday to support Mayor Ken Adams’ reelection campaign, but also to promote economic development in the area with a stop to tour the Teleflex facility located at 11245 N. Distribution CV. in the Olive Branch.

Teleflex Inc. is a Limerick, Pennsylvania-based medical equipment manufacturer that has established a distribution center in Olive Branch. The facility occupies 627,000 square feet of existing space.

Within four years of operation, Teleflex plans to employ approximately 225 workers at this site. The project received support from the Mississippi Development Authority’s Momentum Mississippi Incentives program and local tax incentives from the City of Olive Branch.

In 2023, Teleflex achieved its sixth consecutive No. 1 ranking among large companies in the MedReps.com Best Places to Work rankings. In 2022, the company was ranked by Forbes magazine as one of the best employers for diversity.

Reeves said Teleflex’s work is to empower healthcare professionals nationwide.

“They employ many great Mississippians and that’s one of the reasons we’re seeing such economic success in DeSoto County,” Reeves said on his X/Twitter feed.
