Mammograms Offered at Discount Drug Mart in Northeast Ohio

CLEVELAND — MetroHealth and Discount Drug Mart are partnering to help people get preventative mammograms at several Northeast Ohio market chain locations throughout the summer and beyond.

“Mammograms save lives, but getting an appointment can sometimes be difficult,” Discount Drug Mart said in a news release.

The retailer is hosting MetroHealth’s mobile 3D mammogram coach on multiple dates at five Discount Drug Mart locations. The company says the coach uses the same technology used at all MetroHealth locations offering breast imaging services.

Mammograms are free for policyholders who have not had one for at least a year. Places are limited and registration is required. To register, call 216-957-8848 or visit MetroHealth.

The next scheduled stop is in Independence on Tuesday.

The mammography coach will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Here are the dates the mammography coach will be available:
