Park Plaza and the Museum of Discovery announced a partnership Monday, June 17, to provide free educational programs for children and families. The partnership will allow Park Plaza and the Museum of Discovery to expand community access to inspiring and engaging experiences designed to stimulate interest and exploration of science and technology.

The partnership will bring new science and technology events for families and children to Park Plaza in downtown Little Rock throughout the year.

The first two events, scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 and Wednesday, July 24, are part of Park Plaza’s new Kids’ Club Series and will feature activities that encourage deeper learning and exploration of science and technology .

“We are excited to collaborate with the Museum of Discovery to provide more engaging opportunities for families to explore science and technology,” said Howard Levine, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Second Horizon. “It’s crucial for young minds to learn more about these fields, and we’re excited to partner to share captivating events that will inspire and stimulate their curiosity.”

Park Plaza is owned by Second Horizon Capital.

“Introducing children to science and technology at an early age is critical to sparking their natural curiosity and laying the foundation for tomorrow’s innovators and leaders,” said Kelley Bass, CEO of the Museum of Discovery. “We are grateful for the Park Plaza partnership, which will allow us to reach even more children and families with exciting and interactive science events.”
