Krista L. Cramer

Krista L. Cramer

LEXINGTON: Krista L. (Hart) Cramer, 47 years old, lit up every room she entered. A vibrant and illuminating presence, Krista’s memory will continue to shine after her sudden passing on September 13, 2024.

Krista was born on July 18, 1977 in Bucyrus to parents Dennis and Lucinda (Fetter) Hart. Krista’s heart was always centered in the Ohio region she called home. She graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1995 and on May 6, 2000, she married Troy Cramer, the love of her life whom she had met in 1998. The couple raised three children together: Trevor, Nathan and Madeline, who are fondly referred to. by her mother as ‘Sass’. Krista was a woman of countless talents and passions, but her devotion to her family and the love she showered them with were among the most substantial. Although she was often busy with work and projects, Krista never missed her children’s games or events.

Krista was an enchanting and radiant presence, always with an infectious smile on her face. Everywhere she went, strangers rarely remained strangers as long as she made friends with everyone who crossed her path. Her vibrant and adventurous spirit led her to cultivate a gift for cooking; she could often be found in the kitchen creating unique dishes to share with loved ones. In addition to creative culinary pursuits, Krista loved warm weather and being outside enjoying the sun’s rays. She was a voracious reader and was often found poring over books. Her favorite place was enjoying the warmth of a sunny day, reading a book with a glass of wine in hand. Her green thumb led her to a life full of plants, both to enjoy and to use in her cooking. Krista was in love with life in every way, and when she wasn’t actively living every moment to the fullest, she spent time gently and carefully preserving memories in carefully crafted scrapbooks.

Krista is survived by her loving husband Troy; children Trevor, Nathan and Madeline; parents Denny and Cindy Hart; brother Scott Hart; parents-in-law Jerry and Mary Cramer; brother-in-law Todd (Leigh) Cramer; niece Olivia Hart; cousin Gage Hart; and many more beloved friends and extended family.

She is preceded in death by brother Kevin Hart.

A private service will be held for Krista’s family, but they invite friends and loved ones to join them on November 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DLX Kobacker Room (28 N Main St, Mansfield, Ohio 44902) to celebrate Krista’s life celebrate.
