Travis Scott’s criminal history revealed from post-concert arrests caught on camera to disorderly drunkenness in Miami

Rapper Travis Scott, 33, was arrested for disorderly intoxication Thursday morning in Miami.

However, his recent arrest is not the first time the Sicko Mode rapper has been in trouble with the law.

Police were called to break up a fight on a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina, according to a Miami Beach Police Department report obtained by The US Sun.

Authorities reportedly “smelled a strong odor of alcohol” coming from Travis’ breath, to which he admitted to drinking, responding, “It’s Miami.”

The report stated that Travis was escorted from the boat. Five minutes after being escorted out, the rapper returned and appeared “erratic” and “yelling.”

He was booked at 4:35 a.m. in Miami-Dade County.

Travis’ bail was set at $500 for trespassing and $150 for disorderly intoxication.

He appears to have discussed the arrest via X, formerly Twitter, when he posted “Lol” on the social media platform.

ASTROWORLD DISASTER

On November 5, 2021, 10 people lost their lives while attending Travis Scott’s Astroworld music festival at NRG Park in Houston, Texas.

More than 50,000 spectators attended the two-day event.

Texas officials said the crowd began “compressing toward the front of the stage” around 9:18 p.m.

As contestants attempted to stop the show by climbing onto the camera platform, the show was still running until approximately 10:12 p.m. when the show officially ended.

In addition to the 10 victims, hundreds of people were injured.

Among those who tragically lost their lives were John Hilgert, 14; Franco Patino, 21 years old; Jake Jurinek, 20; Danish Baig, 27; Brianna Rodriguez, 16; Axel Acosta, 21 years old; Rudy Peña, 23; Madison Dubiski, 23; Bharti Shahani, 22, and Ezra Blount, nine.

After the deadly event, Travis released a statement in an interview with GQ, saying: “Making music, you think about things that are happening in life and things that are happening in your life, and you connect to these things.

“That moment for the families, for the city, you know, it was devastating.”

Due to the event, Travis faced criminal charges due to the 2021 Astroworld tragedy.

However, on June 29, 2023, a grand jury decided not to file criminal charges against him.

According to Reuters, Travis Scott’s lawyer, Kent Schaffer, said his client should not face charges for what happened at Astroworld.

“Nothing Travis did or did is consistent with the Texas criminal code,” Schaffer said.

On May 24, 2024, Travis Scott and Live Nation settled all wrongful death lawsuits.

Before the Astroworld tragedy, Travis pleaded guilty to reckless driving charges after encouraging Lollapalooza fans to break through the barricades and onto the stage in 2015.

Two years later, Travis was arrested for inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a minor in 2017.

The same year, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after two people were injured during his show.

BAGAR AFTER THE PARTY

During an after party in Cannes on May 24, 2024, a fight broke out between Travis Scott and Cher’s boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards.

According to Page Six, a source told the outlet that Travis threatened Tyga’s safety, asking if they “wanted to die.”

Initially, a fight reportedly broke out between 808 Media producer Southside and AE, who is also Tyga’s best friend.

However, once Travis became involved in trying to take Southside away from AE, Travis and AE began to fight.

AE and Tyga’s assistants began beating Travis, according to an eyewitness.

Kylie Jenner’s exes, Travis and Tyga, didn’t directly fight.

Security eventually put an end to the events and no one was arrested.

“Travis was the aggressor,” another source told the outlet.

“He and his team were neurotic, erratic and crazy. To be honest, he was looking to pick a fight with anyone.”
