Shocking crisis of Utah transgender ‘killer’ after arrest for murder of her family, as police reveal disturbing new details of bloodbath

Disturbing new details have been revealed about a transgender woman accused of murdering her parents.

Collin Troy Bailey, 28, who goes by Mia, was filmed being taken away by seven armed officers in Washington City on Wednesday afternoon after his mother Gail, 69, and father Joseph, 70, were found dead in their neighboring house.

Police now say that after an initial attack, they then returned to the scene to shoot them several times “to make sure they were dead.”

In a shocking outburst, Bailey told cops she “had no remorse for her actions and would not change what she did.”

‘I would do it again. I hate them,” she said, according to the booking affidavit viewed by KSL.

Suspected Utah transgender killer Collin Troy Bailey, 28, who goes by the name Mia, has been arrested following the murder of his parents Gail, 69, and Joseph Bailey, 70.
Bailey was charged with two counts of aggravated murder, one count of attempted aggravated murder, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of third-degree felony firearm.

“Mia told police she went to the residence with the intention of killing her parents” and was seen entering the house on surveillance camera footage, it says.

Several shell casings were found on the first floor of the house, near the stairs and in the front room.

Arrest documents say Bailey admitted to entering the home and shooting her mother almost immediately.

Gail’s body was found on the first floor while her husband’s body was found in the hallway leading to the master bedroom.

Washington city police said Bailey’s father, Joseph, was shot twice while his mother was shot four times.

“Upon entering the house, she almost immediately began shooting at her mother. Mia said her father…heard the gunshots and started walking towards her. Mia stated that she shot her father in the head and he immediately fell to the ground,” the affidavit states.

A SWAT team from Washington City, Utah, apprehended Bailey Wednesday afternoon.
She was taken into custody by the police after a 16-hour search.
Bailey is transitioning from a man to a woman, with no motive given for his alleged crimes.

After firing the first shots, police returned upstairs and fired again.

“Mia described going back to her father who was lying on the ground and shooting him again in the head to make sure he was dead. As she did so, Mia… went back to her mother and shot her in the head to make sure she was dead,” police detailed in the affidavit.

After allegedly killing his parents, Bailey fired a shot through the bedroom door where his brother and his wife had locked themselves.

The two men heard a gunshot as they tried to escape through a ground floor window.

“Mia stated that her brother was not her primary target, but that she would not have been sad if the gunshot had killed him,” the police affidavit states.

When police arrived at the home, they found the door ajar.

An all-night search was launched to capture Bailey, involving officers from the Washington Police Department, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Utah Department of Public Safety.

Helicopters were used to search for her before she was eventually found walking in a nearby ravine. She attempted to evade capture by hiding in the brush.

“Officers were on scene and observed Mia heading north toward the Painted Desert subdivision through the wash. Mia was ordered to stop, and she pulled a handgun from her waistband and placed it to her head, continuing to walk away from the officers, ignoring their commands. Officers lost sight of Mia as she entered the thick brush of the wash/ravine,” the arrest report states.

Police said they were called after reports of shots fired at the house and when they entered they found the couple dead, confirming they died from gunshot wounds.
