Henrico offers free mosquito inspections for homes and businesses

Henrico County residents and businesses can obtain free mosquito inspections from the county of their homes and business premises to help prevent mosquito-borne illnesses.

Inspections are offered by the Henrico Department of Public Works.

Residents can register for the inspection online and indicate whether or not they would like to meet with an inspector. (Residents or business managers do not need to be present during the inspection.)

Inspectors will call residents to discuss the inspection results and provide a checklist of potential or active breeding sites on their property.
