Recently, Epic Games dropped a bombshell out of nowhere via their X account, as they announced. Fortnite Reload. This will be a brand new mode, bringing back the locations from OG Chapter 1 onto a more compact map. The company shared a game mode teaser as well as an announcement, showcasing beloved Chapter 1 maps like Tilted Towers and Retail Row.

Reload mode will feature its own smaller map with aspects of the three additional maps as well as the two previously mentioned; these three are: Pleasant Park, Lil’ Loot Lake and Sandy Sheets. So now it’s fun for both OG and eSports players.

According to some leaks, Fortnite Reload is the Squads game mode, in which all players will systematically respawn as long as one of their teammates is alive. So, the match will be over when one team eliminates all the members of the rest of the team before a player from each team has time to respawn.

This mode will be available in the game once the next update goes live, that is, after three to four hours after the final downtime of v30.20, which starts at 1:00 AM ET.
