Jones ready to take on England challenge as US eyes positive ending

Summing up their T20 World Cup campaign and highlighting its importance in the rise of cricket associated with the United States, Jones shared: “I think the England match is important. Personally, every time I put on an American jersey, I want to win the game, no matter who we are playing.

“I think over the last two weeks, starting with the series win against Bangladesh, it has really and truly opened the eyes of everyone in the world, not only for American cricket, but for the associated cricket in general.”

“And then obviously beating Pakistan in the World Cup, then having a close game against India, then having a close game against South Africa. People know associate cricket is on the rise, I would say.

The United States will do everything possible against England to ensure a positive end to their fairytale campaign, but Jones feels no pressure on the reigning champions to achieve it.
