What must happen for the war between Israel and Hamas to end? Cramer explains

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – This week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Biden administration is suspending military support for Israel as its war against Hamas continues.

The White House has said it doesn’t know what Netanyahu is talking about and all this comes as the prime minister is scheduled to visit Congress at the end of July.

People in both countries remain hopeful for some form of resolution, but it may not happen anytime soon.

Senator Kevin Cramer said that whenever you have an enemy like Hamas, the first ninety percent of the fighters are easy to find, but the remaining 10 percent are integrated into innocent populations.

He added that they were more difficult to locate, identify and kill without causing many more casualties.

Cramer said that ending this war would require Israel to eliminate Hamas to the last terrorist, something Israel has committed to doing.

“The only other way would be for Hamas to sign and agree to a ceasefire that meets all the conditions that Benjamin Netanyahu and the United States have frankly imposed on them, one of them being the release of all the living hostages that they still have territory. The United States, Israel and any other peaceful country,” Cramer said.

Cramer said Hamas must abandon all of this and then truly negotiate short, medium and long term outcomes. He added that he did not see Hamas agreeing to all of Netanyahu’s demands.
