Designer: Artisan Tiny Homes

The house was designed and built in Tasmania and is quite a spacious and comfortable space. The length is nine meters and houses an open plan kitchen, a king-size mezzanine bedroom, a living room and a bathroom with a bathtub as well as a full-size shower cubicle. The bathroom is exceptionally designed and is custom made. The sink is constructed from a barrel, while the bathtub is a repurposed ice tray. The walls of the shower cubicle are made of corrugated iron. The various custom-made parts enhance the industrial aesthetic of the toilet by giving it a sophisticated touch. It contains minimal wooden furniture which is also custom made. The vanity unit and deep shelves have been designed for clever storage and space saving. The bathroom faucets are black and contrast beautifully with the white Expedition walls.

The whole house has the same concrete floor, which gives it a homogeneous and harmonious appearance. The color palette of the home is quite industrial with the use of neutral urban tones that perfectly complement the matte black furniture and accents. These thoughtful touches create a living space that is minimal and elegant, yet powerful and bold.

Another cool thing about the house is that it includes a number of clever storage hacks. The kitchen and bathroom share a transition zone that functions as a spacious cabinet. The kitchen features massive cabinets and hanging shelves. The staircase also serves as a beautiful decorative piece. It is somewhere between a staircase and a ladder and appears to be floating in the air. It gives access to the loft-style bedroom and has generous storage space.
