HarborOne Bank announces ONECommunity scholarship recipients.

University scholarships totaling $100,000 awarded to 20 MA and RI students

BROCKTON, Mass., June 26, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–HarborOne Bank announced today that it has awarded $100,000 in ONECommunity Scholarships to 20 students from Massachusetts and Rhode Island who are pursuing their college degrees.

Each recipient will receive a $5,000 scholarship paid directly to the college or university they will attend in fall 2024. Since its inception, the ONECommunity Scholarship Program has awarded $900,000 in college scholarships to local high school seniors who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to educational excellence and their local community.

HarborOne Bank has pledged $1 million over a 10-year period to provide college scholarships to exceptional students. This year’s awards represent significant progress toward that goal.
