Huawei has announced the launch and pre-order availability of its FreeBuds Pro 6i. According to Huawei, they will feature a “powerful base of enhanced noise cancellation and extended battery life.”

As part of its noise cancellation process, the FreeBuds Pro 6i uses Smart Dynamic ANC 3.0 This is a noise cancellation technology developed by Huawei that sets noise cancellation levels based on 34 different scenarios. It adjusts noise cancellation settings every 2.6 microseconds (μs), ensuring optimal sound isolation in any environment.

Its noise cancellation is further improved thanks to five major hardware upgrades. These include a noise filtering chamber (formerly passive noise cancellation) based on the Helmholtz resonance principle, new skin-friendly liquid silicone eartips for a better seal, a 3-mic system with signal ratio /improved noise, 2.4 times more computing power. , and a four-magnet 11mm dynamic driver for superior sound quality and cancellation performance.

Helmholtz resonance refers to sound waves that pass over the top opening of the chamber, causing the interior air to resonate at a specific frequency. This will essentially lower the energy level of that frequency and reduce the decibel levels heard on the other side.

According to Huawei, this all works together to deliver 50% better noise cancellation performance than the Huawei FreeBuds 5i, with an average noise cancellation of 27 dB across the frequency range and ultra-wide ANC up to 5 kHz.

In terms of audio capabilities, the FreeBuds Pro 6i allows users to personalize their audio experience using Multi-EQ effects, offering up to 10 bands of adjustable equalization (EQ) settings to fine-tune music to suit your needs. individual preferences. They also come with an 11mm ultra-magnetic bass driver, these headphones deliver 50% more powerful bass up to 14Hz, with LDAC HD audio codec (LDAC allows transmission of audio content including high-resolution audio (Hi-Res), at the maximum bit rate of 990 kbps even over Bluetooth) and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification for clear, crisp sound.

But good audio playback only works as long as the batteries are dead. Fortunately for users, Huawei claims that its Huawei FreeBuds Pro 6i have 35 hours of total playback (with ANC off) with the charging case, with a 10-minute charge capable of adding four hours of playback. They connect to any device via Bluetooth 5.3
