Kate Spade New York has teamed up with Heinz to create a limited-edition collection of tomato ketchup-inspired clothing and accessories.

The one-of-a-kind capsule is inspired by each brand’s signature DNA, with Heinz iconography and the ketchup red color featured on t-shirts, shoes, tote bags, clutches, small leather goods, phone cases and Kate Spade key rings.

Jennifer Lyu, SVP and Head of Design at Kate Spade, said: “We believe in exploring the journey of self-expression through style in fun and unexpected ways.

“It’s the thoughtful details that bring this collection to life – from the embellishments on the t-shirt to the way our 3D ketchup bag resembles that classic red and white packet.

“The playful designs are perfect for all of summer’s special moments, capturing the spirit of the season. I’m thrilled that customers of all generations can experience a little piece of the magic we’ve created with Heinz.”

Megan Lang, Head of Global Brand Communications and Creative at Heinz, added: “With this new line of ‘couture condiments,’ we are thrilled to partner with iconic brand Kate Spade New York to pay homage to the beloved brand Heinz.

“Both brands have incredibly loyal fans that transcend generations. At Heinz, we love celebrating the unique and unconventional ways our fans show us their love, and this collection is the perfect opportunity to do so.”

The limited-edition collection, priced between £45 and £425, will be available at Kate Spade New York’s flagship store at 200 Regent Street in London, as well as on the brand’s UK website and in global markets including in North America, Europe, Japan, China and Southeast Asia from July 5.
