Mesa plans land annexation to make way for tech campus and data center

MESA, AZ — Two upcoming cases before the Mesa City Council could result in the annexation of more than 150 acres.

Pacific Proving LLC, a major Mesa landowner, through the law firm Gammage & Burnham PLC, has filed a request for a public hearing with the city to annex two parcels from Maricopa County to Mesa.

Pacific Proving is seeking to develop the Pacific Proving Technology Campus – a large data center and employment campus – on this land, located on the northeast corner of Crismon and Pecos roads.

The sites, consisting of 42 and 130 acres respectively, are located east of the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and south of State Route 24.

The Council will hold public hearings on the annexations at its July 1 meeting.
