Nabeel Zafar slams Indian media for hypocrisy and foul play

Nabeel Zafar is an incredibly talented and popular Pakistani actor, host and producer. He gained immense fame from his hit drama series Dhuwan. Nabeel rose to fame through his iconic character, Dr. Daud. His other notable projects include Ajaib Ghar, Din, Qissa Saat Raaton Ka, Daldal, Payal and Dais Pardes. Actor Nabeel is currently known for his hit sitcom Bulbulay, which has been running for around 14 years.

Recently, actor Nabeel Zafar made an appearance on FHM’s podcast, in the podcast he revealed the reason why he is against broadcasting Indian content.

On this, he said, “I am not against Indian content, but what I want to say is that they don’t buy our work. They don’t even show ten percent of our content, so why are we buying their content and showing it in our theaters. They have a population of 1.5 billion and we have a population of 25 crore, at least according to this ratio. Pakistanis are kind-hearted people, we are hospitable, our traders do not charge them when they visit Pakistan and you all have witnessed how our actors literally fled India. We’ve never done this, we know where we’re good. We should show their films, but my condition is the same: they should also show our films in their theaters, even if they fail. They don’t even buy our dramas, I know, they started a channel Zee Zindagi which was also shut down. They have a good market but we also have talent and I admit that corruption has ruined us, it is our great dilemma.”
