Bank employees shocked after woman writes word ‘Balance’ in amount column on deposit slip

Bank employees shocked after woman writes word ‘Balance’ in amount column on deposit slip

Completing bank forms can be complicated for many people. The less educated and strangers to these financial institutions often make hilarious mistakes. A photo of a State Bank of India deposit slip is being widely shared on social media. In this case, a woman filled out the deposit form with all the required details but made a mistake in the “Amount” column. The video went viral.

In the trending video, a State Bank of India deposit slip is seen which allegedly belongs to a woman named Sangeeta. She deposited Rs 2,000 in her account. She filled all the information correctly like account number and name. In the deposit slip, the amount column was also written as ‘Rashi’ in Hindi translation. Confused by the translation, the woman writes down her zodiac sign. She writes Balance in the amount column. Bank employees were reportedly shocked by this information. The deposit slip is dated June 18. Internet users doubt the authenticity of the video. Many believe that this is a video made up to attract viewers. The clip is shared by an Instagram user named Smartprem19. The clip has gone viral now. “Bank waale sadme me (Translation: Bank employees are shocked),” the video captioned the video.

Internet users were quick to post humorous comments under the post. Some went into details of astrology and said that Sangeeta could not have a Libra zodiac sign. “The sign Libra comes from R, S comes from the sign Aquarius. This is done knowing that someone is at the bank for assistance. Illiterate people today also use mobile phones. They are faster than educated people,” one of the users wrote explaining the reasoning behind the video. Some also pointed out the complicated terms used in banks for reasons of confusion. Others pointed out the lack of good sense of women.

This isn’t the first time someone has made the same mistake. Some time ago, a deposit slip from an Indian bank went viral, on which a woman wrote Libra in the amount column. The bank reportedly authorized the deposit and it was dated April 12.
