Where people meet television founder Meleika Gardner will be joined by co-hosts Sebastian Nalls and Mike “Wojo” Wojciechowski. The trio will speak with State Rep. La Shawn K. Ford, the Rev. Eileen Wiviott of the Unitarian Church and Paula Danoff, executive director of the Evanston Art Center, to discuss community engagement, the arts and Moreover.

Those present will be able to participate in the discussion and express their opinions, Gardner said. For those unable to attend, the recording will be available to stream on YouTube at a later date.

Gardner said the goal of the platform is to get the community more involved.

“I think there are people who care,” Gardner said. “And they don’t know what to do, or where to actually find the information, or what to do with that information.”

Gardner wants Where people meet television to be a place where the community can come together once a month and not only learn but be heard.

“It’s a safe place to come and receive information and engage,” Gardner said.
