A terrifying shark attack took place in Florida yesterday morning, June 29, leaving a man in his 40s seriously injured after being severely bitten on his right forearm while fishing near Fernandina Beach , north of Jacksonville. The incident reportedly occurred when the man, after catching the shark, attempted to release it into the water, but was bitten in the process. Quickly responding to a distress call, the NCSO Marine Unit arrived and administered emergency care, including applying a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. Despite the severity of the injuries, the victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition, although medical authorities are optimistic about his recovery.
