Bus Crash in Rochester NY Closes Lanes on I-490

Officials say Interstate 490 in Chile was closed in both directions Thursday morning after a tour bus crash on the highway.

This is reported by the Chilean fire brigadeThe crash, which involved an overturned vehicle and entrapment, occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway, which is closed in both directions between exits 3 and 4. Motorists are being diverted from the highway.

Deputy Brendan Hurley of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the crash involved a tour bus and occurred on the interstate near Union Street. The accident was reported around 7:10 am

“Expect significant delays,” fire officials said.
