SLIPKNOT Statement on James Hetfield’s Entry into Rehab and Cancellation of METALLICA/SLIPKNOT Tour

Last night, the metal world was stunned to learn that Metallica Singer James Hetfield has entered a treatment program to deal with his struggles with addiction. As a result, the band have been forced to cancel shows in Australia and New Zealand, offering fans full refunds at outlets.

Noose were set to open this massive tour and have now made this statement about the unfortunate cancellation:

“We only recently learned that the tour has been postponed and we are working as quickly as possible to determine next steps. We will update everyone as soon as we are able.
