Kyle Walker’s ex Lauryn Goodman shares cryptic message about ‘taking back power’ after City star shunned her at Euros

KYLE Walker’s ex Lauryn Goodman has shared a cryptic message after being shunned by the City star at this year’s Euros.

Lauryn, who has two children with the ace defender, flew to Germany for England’s second group game against Denmark, where security was on high alert to keep her away from wife Annie Kilner.

She flew out with her and Walker’s son Kairo, who was wearing a personalised Three Lions’ No2 ‘Daddy’ jersey.

Lauryn, 33, claimed the England star had offered her tickets to matches at the tournament, something her team vehemently denied.

And in the latest bitter dig at Walker, Lauryn shared a quote on her Instagram Story about “taking back power.”

The message read: “I was extremely sad about the way someone treated me, but then I remembered how kind I am to people, it’s a reflection of me.

“How people treat me is a projection of their character, not a reflection of my worth.

“May I always remember that I am taking back my power.”

It comes after the influencer began a secret relationship with Walker in 2019 after splitting from football agent Dane Rashford.

When Walker was confirmed as the father of Lauryn’s second child, his wife Annie kicked him out of their Manchester home.

At the time, Annie was expecting their fourth child.

But after the birth of their son Rezon in April, a friend told The Sun: “Having their son has made Kyle and Annie think about their relationship and they are determined to work on it together.”

Friends said Annie wanted Walker to remain a stable part of their family’s life.

They added: “Although they are still working through their relationship, Annie would never stop Kyle from spending time with their children.”

Annie flew to and from every Euro game with her sons rather than staying in a hotel with the other Wags.

The mother-of-four was beaming in the stands with the couple’s fourth child, two-month-old Rezon, ahead of what was a dramatic match on Sunday.

The security team looking after the England Wags had already been warned to keep an eye on Lauryn during the match against Denmark two weeks ago.

A source at the time said: “Lauryn is seen as a troublemaker and Annie’s worst nightmare was to run into her.

“We talked about Lauryn’s spots being less than 100 yards away. Annie wants absolutely nothing to do with her.

“The security team was aware of Lauryn’s presence and were prepared to ensure she could not approach the Wags area.

“Lauryn is a con artist and a greedy opportunity seeker, and they were worried she wouldn’t get in.

“But given the sensitivities surrounding this matter, she was kept out of the spotlight.”

Lauryn revealed to the Daily Mail that she and Kairo left the stadium five minutes before the end of the match to avoid an awkward situation.

Lauryn said: “We left five minutes early to avoid Kairo being upset and confused because his dad had gone to see his siblings and he hadn’t.

“It would have been so sad for him and I wasn’t going to take that risk.”

Kyle Walker interview with The Sun

England ace Kyle Walker admitted in January to making “stupid choices and stupid decisions” over his secret child and bitterly regrets betraying his soulmate Annie.

In an interview with The Sun, this is what he said.

“What I did was horrible and I take full responsibility for it.

“I made stupid choices and I made stupid decisions. I can’t imagine what Annie is going through. I tried to ask her, but she’s hurting and she’s hurting.

“The man who was supposed to love her, care for her and be there for her, did this.

“There were days during this ordeal where I just wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep.

“The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I am aware of and I have made stupid choices. But I have to own up to my mistakes, I owe it to everyone.”

“My actions have caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. I am sorry, because as a family this was not meant to happen.

“I am a private man, but I accept that I am a public figure and I have to acknowledge what I have done.

“It didn’t help that this was exposed in the media. But I chose to speak out now in the hope that I can at least explain myself and allow my wife and children the privacy they desperately need and deserve.

“When I met Annie at 17, I never imagined my private life would be like this. I never thought I would be a father of six children.

“In football I have achieved more than I could have ever hoped to achieve. But to personally hurt the one I consider my best friend, that is what hurts me the most.

“How could I hurt someone I love so much? That’s something I have to find within myself.”

“I have to understand why I did that and why certain situations happened. I’m human and I’ve made mistakes on and off the field.

“The ones that happen off the pitch are certainly more damaging and have hurt me more.

“Football has been my life since I was six years old, but my family comes first on this planet. Right now, they are suffering a lot.

“My little boy sleeps with me every night and not having him… I’m used to being away for long periods with England.

“We say goodnight on FaceTime. But knowing that I’m not with him because of my mistake – mistake is probably the wrong word, my choices – that’s what hurts.”
