Police find ghost gun during traffic stop in Gates

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man was arrested Monday after police said they found a handgun with 3D printed parts in his possession.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, officers stopped a Honda Accord in Gates around 3:15 p.m. They say the driver “was acting nervous” and had a black bag between his feet.

Police said the driver, Tamareion Roundtree, 19, was arrested when deputies discovered his license was suspended.

In the bag, police reportedly found a handgun with a 3D-printed frame, no serial number and a loaded magazine.

Roundtree was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
