Machete star Danny Trejo caught in street fight after water balloon ‘thrown’ at him

Machete star Danny Trejo was reportedly involved in a fight during the Sunland-Tujunga Independence Day Parade on Thursday (July 4) in Los Angeles, California.

The altercation began when an individual allegedly threw a water balloon at the vintage convertible the 80-year-old actor was riding in. A video circulating on social media shows Danny confronting a man he believes to be the culprit.

The video shows the moment Danny got out of his vehicle and approached the crowd on the sidewalk, throwing a punch at the man. The man returned fire but missed, causing the actor to trip and fall.

The alleged instigator then punched Danny before punching another man who had come to the actor’s aid, causing him to fall to the ground. At one point, Danny was seen picking up a folding beach chair and using it to punch someone as a larger fight broke out, involving people from both sides.
