Escape To the Chateau’s Angel Strawbridge is the latest celebrity at the centre of controversy over a leaked recording.

The TV star and her husband Dick have hit the headlines in recent days after it was reported that Channel 4 had cut ties with them following allegations of tension between them and producers.

And now Deadline says it has obtained a copy of a recording in which a woman – apparently Strawbridge – can be heard screaming at being kept waiting and calling a crew member a “little prick.”

The publication said a rep for the couple declined to comment, though they posted a message on Instagram saying “there are two sides to every story.”

“We know there are a lot of stories in the press right now,” they said.

“It’s not even worth trying to comment or give context, because anything can become a good headline. We get it. There are two sides to every story, and thanks to the incredible support we’ve received, most of you know that.

“We are proud of who we are and we believe in doing what we believe is right. That’s actually what made Escape To The Chateau unique. Although we have parted ways with Channel 4, we are extremely grateful to them and their teams for their support and creativity over the years.”

Yahoo has reached out to representatives for the Strawbridges for comment.

This is not the first time a star has been filmed not looking her best…

“We are the gold standard,” he shouted. “They’re back in Hollywood making movies because of us.

“I’m on the phone with every fucking studio at night, insurance companies, producers and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies.

“We’re creating thousands of jobs, you bastards. I never want to see that again. Ever!”

Asked later by Empire magazine about the incident, Cruise said: “I said what I said. There was a lot at stake at that point.”

He explained that most of the crew had left the set and that his rant was aimed at “certain people” for their behavior, which threatened to shut down production shortly after it was finally allowed to resume after the lockdown.

“All these emotions were going through my mind. I was thinking about the people I work with and the industry I’m in,” he said. “And knowing that the whole team had started working on a film was a huge relief.”

“And here we are, still filming,” he added, joking that he was available for “Zoom parties and kids’ parties too, you know!”

In a video of the incident leaked online, the actor directed his anger at Hurlbut, threatening to smash his lighting equipment while vowing to quit the film if Hurlbut did it again.

“I want you off the set, you b****,” Bale shouted in an angry outburst. “No, don’t just be sorry – think for a second.”

He later apologized for his offensive remarks and said he and Hurlbut had sorted things out that same day.

Bale said he was so invested in his character John Connor that he was “half John Connor, half Christian Bale” when he attacked him.

As the officer approached her with handcuffs, the Legally Blonde star uttered the most embarrassing line in the book, asking the officer, “Do you know who I am?”

“You’re about to find out who I am,” she said.
