Some PS Plus members get 14 days of Premium for free

Sony offers a selection PS Plus members a 14 day free trial Premium tier. This time, the offer is being sent via console notifications rather than email, which can be easily overlooked and missed. Players should check their console inbox before the offer disappears.

Who is eligible for the free PS Plus Premium July 2024 offer?

As usual, the offer is sent randomly. One Reddit user reported that he received the offer even though his PS Plus Premium subscription had expired at least two days ago. He didn’t notice the offer and ended up renewing his subscription.

Please note that PS5 notification pop-ups can be a bit wonky, so it’s best to check manually via the console’s control panel to avoid the above situation.

Another user reported receiving the free 14-day Premium voucher after renewing their PS Plus Essential subscription for a year. However, Sony also offered to convert their 12 months of Essential into 182 days of Premium. At this time, we cannot confirm whether Sony will allow a return to Essential once the 14-day trial period is over.

For added security, we recommend that you take advantage of the free Premium trial only if your subscription has expired and you have not enabled automatic billing.
