In the photo, the balcony is an enclosed space with a single bed, a full-length mirror, a dresser and a few rugs. The listing owner wrote that the person will have to share the bathroom with another person. “Ready to move in now. Easy to get anywhere,” he said. Rent is $360 per week, including utilities, according to the report.
“This is crazy. I hope you at least get kitchen and bathroom privileges. If you can use the living areas, it might not be bad. But, the rest of the unit is rented weekly? That’s just weird,” one user commented.
9news reported that Sydney’s median rent remained at a record high of $750 per week in the June 2024 quarter.
