Jennifer Lopez, who hardly drinks, should not be dragged into P Diddy’s Freakoff Party Scandal

The Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs scandal seems to have ripped the cover off Hollywood in just a few months. Now behind bars on several serious charges, the once music mogul is now one of the most controversial members of the music industry. However, it has become clear that if Combs goes down, he won’t do it alone.

More and more celebrities are starting to link themselves to his actions, even though it’s all speculation. From Beyoncé to Ashton Kutcher, Kim Kardashian and even Will Smith are involved in the conversation. One of the more obvious names being talked about is Jennifer Lopez, as they had been dating for a few years.

Recently, someone close to Lopez spoke out in her defense, in an attempt to clear her name amid all the controversy.

Jennifer Lopez and Diddy were involved from 1999 to 2001, making several public appearances and acts of affection to confirm the reality of their relationship. Although a lot of time has passed since then, recent updates in Combs’ life have made the world bring her up again.

The producer was recently indicted on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has also been accused of r*pe, sexual abuse and assault of minors (via Forbes). Furthermore, his games dating back to the early 2000s have earned an infamous reputation.

With this, many began to wonder if Lopez could serve as a witness in Combs’ trial. Some even wondered if she had any involvement in all the alleged illegal activities that went on in Combs’ life.

While speculation is very easy, it can very easily ruin the careers of people who don’t deserve it. Recently, someone came forward in Lopez’s defense.

Jennifer Lopez is not guilty?

Recently, Thea de Sousa, an ex-employee, contributed Maid in Manhattanspoke out by Jennifer Lopez defense on her Wires account (via Daily email). I knew the actress for a short period of time around the same time as her relationship with Diddyde Sousa said that anyone even remotely close to the actress would know that she had no involvement whatsoever in Combs’ alleged illegal activities.

If you knew Jennifer Lopez, if you ever worked with her like I did, or if you were close to people who are like her family, you would know that she had no idea about Diddy.

Illustrating the fact that she and Lopez were close, she said she had been in touch with people the actress considered family to her. With this in mind, she adamantly stated that Lopez was completely unaware of the things Combs was accused of.

She hardly drinks, she’s not a partier, she’s not a fun girl, she’s a workaholic who turns a woman on and was charmed by him for a short time in her life. (Lopez) does not deserve to be lumped in with (Combs’) shocking and criminal misdeeds.

Some have questioned Lopez for partying with Combs, even though she was not directly involved in his alleged activities. To this, De Sousa said that the actress is simply not a party girl. Implying that she would very rarely even attend Combs’ so-called “Freak-offs,” the ex-employee said Lopez works far too much and too passionately to be distracted by these things.
