Genesis Scottish Open: Best PGA TOUR Golf Bets, Predictions and Odds to Consider at DraftKings Sportsbook

The PGA TOUR heads to North Berwick, Scotland this week for the Genesis Scottish Open. The Renaissance Club will host the course, which is 7,237 yards, par 70, with fescue greens.

We have another full event with 156 players on the schedule, with a 36-hole cut, led at the top by defending champion Rory McIlroy.

Below I have outlined my two favorite bets of the week.

It seems almost crazy to bet on Fleetwood at 20/1 given that he has never won a PGA TOUR event in his career, but if there is ever a time when he can walk through the proverbial door, it is this week. The Englishman absolutely loves the Renaissance Club, having played there four times in his career, while posting finishes of runner-up, T26, T4 and T6.

Fleetwood is one of the best golfers in the world, so it’s no surprise to see his strong resume at this event. He’s also having a very strong 2024 season, having recorded three top-10s in 14 starts, while currently riding a streak of six consecutive top-26s.

During that stretch, Fleetwood ranks 10th in strokes gained, 15th in tee-to-green and 30th in putting. When he’s on form, Fleetwood has virtually no holes, making it all the more shocking that he has yet to win in the United States.

I would be surprised if we don’t see the world number 11 in contention on Sunday.

Harman came out of nowhere to win the 2023 Open Championship, taking the Claret Jug at odds of 100/1 on DK Sportsbook. He won’t go unnoticed at Royal Troon in two weeks, but he could be this week in Scotland. Harman is 50/1 to win at the Renaissance Club, even after his T12 performance last season.

The 37-year-old is slowly finding his form, having finished 21st at the US Open and ninth at the Travelers in his last two starts. Harman gained six strokes at TPC River Highlands and is in top form just in time for his title defence.

Harman’s elite short game is perfect for a links golf test, and with the way he’s been striking the ball of late, everything could fall into place for him to claim another victory away from home.
