Watch: Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio Shocked by Rhea Ripley's Return to WWE Raw

WWE Monday Night Raw ended in dramatic fashion with the return of former WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley after spending about four months away from the ring due to injury. Fans erupted in cheers for her, but many, including Ripley’s boyfriend Dominik Mysterio, were shocked by her unexpected appearance.

Former women’s world champion Rhea Ripley made a meteoric return to “WWE Raw” Monday night. His return followed the mixed team match where Dominique Mysterio and champion Liv Morgan won a victory over the LWO Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega. Ripley had been sidelined due to an injury inflicted by Morgan, forcing her to vacate her championship.

Prior to Ripley’s injury, Morgan had announced her “Revenge Tour.” After defeating Becky Lynch to win the championship at Crown Jewel, Morgan set her sights on Ripley’s boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio. Earlier in the evening, Judgment Day’s Damian Priest was seen backstage on the phone, presumably with Ripley, hinting at her return.

Dominik was initially hesitant to team up with Morgan, who constantly put him in difficult situations throughout the show. Despite this, they managed to win after Morgan distracted the referee by throwing a chair into the ring, allowing Dominik to knock Rey off the top rope and perform a frog splash for the pinfall, marking his first victory over his father.

Dominik, moved, hugged Morgan but quickly pushed her away. Morgan then jumped into his arms, causing them both to fall, Dominik on top. Just as Dominik seemed ready to give in to Morgan’s advances, an entrance music sounded, causing Dominik and Morgan to react in shock.

Ripley ran down the ramp, while Morgan fled through the crowd, leaving Dominik alone in the ring to confront Ripley. The USA Network feed cut out before the segment could end, but footage captured after the cameras stopped rolling showed Ripley angrily confronting Dominik before running back up the ramp. Dominik attempted to follow her and explain himself. Interestingly, a video later posted to social media showed Morgan watching the confrontation from backstage, smiling as she turned away.
