The move comes as concerns about Biden’s health and political credentials have recently grown among leading Democrats.

Questions about his age have arisen following the recent inconclusive televised debate between the two presidential candidates.

The governor made the shocking remarks during a public event on investing in violence prevention strategies.

Gov. Pritzker began talking to others about the upcoming election and let slip his changing thoughts about the president’s chances, NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV reported.

“We will continue to fight. I don’t know what to say,” he said.

“We’re going to do what we have to do.

“I don’t like where we are.”

A spokesperson for the governor confirmed he was speaking about the election and Biden’s immediate future in politics, according to WMAQ-TV.
