Prince William and Kate Middleton share message of support for Princess Anne as she returns to royal duties following accident

According to MailOnline Rebecca English, the Princess Royal, said she “remembers nothing” about the incident, which left her in hospital for several days last month.

Shortly after her visit, Prince William and Kate Middleton paid tribute to Anne on social media, writing: “Super trooper! So good to see you again so soon! W & C x.”

It was a touching gesture from Anne’s nephew and his wife, given that the Princess of Wales has also suffered from her own health issues in recent months.

Prince William and Princess Anne are known to have a good relationship, with the couple appearing alongside Kate on Mike Tindall’s podcast, The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, in a joint episode last year.

At the time, Princess Anne recalled how she would race Prince William around Balmoral, with the Prince of Wales adding that his aunt could be “quite fast” and that “the look on her face was quite terrifying”.
