Farage ‘not shocked’ by Trump shooting over ‘liberal rhetoric’ | News

Nigel Farage has said he was “very upset” but “not shocked” by the shooting of Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday (July 13).

The 78-year-old former president was shot in the ear while speaking on stage.

One person in the crowd was killed and two others were injured in what the FBI described as an assassination attempt.

The leader of the British Reform Party told the BBC’s Sunday With Laura Kuenssberg: “The narrative that is being put out about Trump by liberals who oppose him is so nasty, so disgruntled, that I think it almost encourages this type of behaviour.”
