Joe Rogan releases Trump interview podcast

Former President Donald Trump called the presidency a “very dangerous affair,” citing his two close conversations with potential assassins in a highly anticipated interview with Joe Rogan released Friday evening.

During his nearly three-hour appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” — which generated more than 350,000 views within 30 minutes of going live — Trump repeatedly referred to the role of the presidency as a dangerous position, suggesting that experts and officials don’t want to talk about the attempts on his life.

“I do things that don’t necessarily make me that popular. I just do what’s right,” said the 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate.

“I understand what I’m doing. You’re making yourself a target, and it’s a very dangerous endeavor. I never thought about that when I did it.”

Trump’s speech in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13 turned into a bloodbath that stunned the world.

Shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, opened fire on a rooftop 400 feet from where the former president spokepoking him in the ear and causing pandemonium before being killed by a Secret Service sniper.

The attack killed a 50-year-old retired fire chief in the audience and seriously injured two others.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned 10 days later after facing bipartisan outrage about agency failures.

Just two months later, potential killer Ryan Wesley Routh58, was arrested after he came within a few hundred yards of Trump on September 15 while playing golf at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump gave Rogan a glimpse of the scar he suffered from Crooks’ bullet.

“It clicked right there,” he said of the mark behind his right ear.

“It healed pretty well,” Rogan said.

“It’s not like some wrestlers, some UFC fighters… it was like a top shot. The thing has kind of taken off,” Trump continued.

“But it makes me a stronger boy.”

Rogan, 57, suggested that the assassination attempts would not have happened if the media — and the Democrats like his rival Vice President Kamala Harris And twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton – did not confuse Trump with Adolf Hitler.

“They like to take things out of context and twist them,” Rogan said.

“The rhetoric is that you are Hitler, and to stop Hitler you have to do whatever it takes.”

Trump recorded the discussion at the comedian’s studios in Austin, Texas, just hours before it went live on the YouTube channel “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
