The driver of a moped is killed in a fatal crash on El Capitan Way

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – A fatal collision between a vehicle and a moped on El Capitan Way between West Flamingo Road and West Saddle Avenue left the moped’s driver dead.

The driver of the vehicle was turning from a private driveway onto El Capitan Way when they struck a moped on the road.

The rider of the moped died on the spot from his injuries.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and was not suspected of being impaired.

El Capitan Way will remain closed between West Flamingo Road and West Saddle Avenue for several hours.
