ALDOT in final planning phase for bicycle and pedestrian plan

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Alabama Department of Transportation is in the final planning stages for its bicycle and pedestrian plan.

The plan helps develop a vision for cycling and walking as a mode of transportation in Alabama. It helps guide investments in bicycle and pedestrian facilities that maximize the limited funding available.

During a meeting, ALDOT officials had a chance to tell people how they plan to build out transit infrastructure while getting feedback from neighbors.
