Bobo Bay, the game inspired by Chao Garden, announced

Indie developer NewFutureKids has fully revealed Bobo Baytheir new pet simulation game inspired by Chao Garden from Sonic Adventure Games.

Bobo Bay is in development for Windows PC (via Steam) with a release planned for late next year, Q4 2025.

Bobo Bay is a pet simulation game where you collect, crush (breed), accessorize, and train little creatures to compete in races and other competitions. You can feed your Bobo an old shoe, which is pretty fun.

Lots of injuries

There are thousands of Bobo combinations you can make. Body color, eye color, body part shape, patterns, highlights, stats, personality traits, etc. will all change with each Bobo you find or crush! Bobos’ distinct traits and moods will completely change the way you interact with and care for your Bobos. Don’t forget to dress them up in a fancy little top hat as well.

Bobos start life as young sprouts. They then grow into seedlings, which are basically their young adult form. As the Bobo ages and changes based on its stats, it will reach a final bud form. Finally, at some point, the Bobo will sprout and offer you the chance to let it evolve!

Competitions galore

Races are the main event in this Bobo world. Different companies and organizations from around the world sponsor different competition series and award unique prizes! Take your Bobos to the BRAND NEW AND VERY CLEAN SPORTS COMPLEX to enter them in a competition. Maybe you just want to enter your Bobo in the Shiny Ruby competition series which consists of 5 beginner races on 5 different maps that focus on Bobo generalists who have good running, swimming and climbing skills. OR maybe you want to train your Bobo to compete in the Nimbus Air® Jump series which puts Bobos high in the sky jumping over skyscraper rooftops for 3 challenging races.

Once you have more Bobos, enter them all in a team relay race! And then, you never know, maybe your Bobos will participate in other sports too… hmmmm… hMM!!!!

Bobo Stars

Don’t miss out on the chance to defeat the legendary Bobo Stars. If your Bobo defeats one of these fools, you’ll be rewarded with a brand new tree of the same species as the Bobo Star. These new species open up many possibilities for customizing the Bobo, as they offer new colors, patterns, and shapes to pair with your other Bobos.

The next sentence is a teaser -> One of the species is a Ghost Bobo. Scary!

City walk

Stroll through a cute little town to buy accessories for your Bobos to wear, register a new Bobo and learn about the competition history at the town hall, buy snacks for your Bobo, or even adopt a Bobo from the shelter. Don’t forget to come back at night to see different shops and options.

Check the clock

Time and date are very important! All competitions have scheduled dates. Check the competition calendar on the Jumbotron in the Sports Complex to sign up for any competitions that sound appealing! Some competitions will be held every day and night, while others will only be held once a week. Plan ahead and make sure your Bobos are ready to wipe out the competition when the time comes.

It is always worth visiting each neighborhood every day and night. You wouldn’t want to miss the excitement that reigns in the city during the Flag Day celebration!
