Nationwide Grounding Affects CHS Airlines

CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – Charleston International Airport has issued an airport alert for travelers due to a Microsoft outage, leading to a nationwide ground stoppage, causing flight cancellations and delays.

According to the Charleston airport, the Federation Aviation Administration issued a nationwide grounding order that affected several airlines at CHS.

Authorities are asking passengers to check with their airline for travel delays or cancellations before arriving at the airport.
