Here’s how to take advantage of the offer

Habit Burger Grill’s Double Charburger was recently voted the best fast food burger in a USA Today poll. In honor of the accolade, the chain is offering its loyal members the chance to sample the award-winning dish.

Members of the chain’s rewards program can receive a free Double Charburger with a minimum purchase of $5. The offer will be automatically loaded to existing rewards members’ accounts between July 19 and July 30.

New members have until September 18 to sign up and take advantage of the offer, a press release said.

“We always knew our Double Char was special, like that gifted child you always secretly loved more than everyone else. But now America has spoken and they agree. It’s like winning the hamburger lottery, except everyone can cash in,” Habit CMO Jack Hinchliffe said in a statement.

The Double Char burger features two grilled beef patties, caramelized onions, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayonnaise on a toasted bun. Customers can also add cheese.

The chain’s tempura green beans, chicken club and roasted garlic cauliflower also took home top prizes in the best side dish, chicken sandwich and healthy innovation categories, respectively.

Habit Burger Grill, known for its charbroiled, California-inspired flavors, opened its first location in Santa Barbara in 1969. Since then, the chain has grown to 380 restaurants in 14 states and international locations.
