Halo: Canceled, No Season 3 for Paramount+ Series – Canceled & Renewed TV Shows, Ratings

Halo TV Series on Paramount+: Canceled or Renewed?

Halo will not have a third season, at least not on Paramount+. The streaming service canceled the sci-fi series based on the popular Xbox video game franchise after two seasons. The second season premiered in February and the finale aired on March 21.

However, Amblin Television, Xbox, and 343 Industries are currently offering the series to other outlets in hopes of finding it a new home.

Pablo Schreiber, Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Fiona O’Shaughnessy, Tylan Bailey, Joseph Morgan, Cristina Rodlo and Christina Bennington star in the series, which follows humanity’s fight against an alien race in the 26th century.

Paramount+ said the following about the series’ cancellation, according to Deadline:

“We are incredibly proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, as well as showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the incredible crew for all their exceptional work. We wish everyone the best in the future.”

343 Industries also said: “We deeply appreciate the millions of fans who have driven the Halo series is a global success and we remain committed to expanding the Halo “We will continue to evolve the sci-fi universe in new ways going forward. We are grateful to Amblin and Paramount for their partnership in bringing our expansive sci-fi universe to viewers around the world.”
