“Today will be a great day”

Jennifer Lopez put on a happy face for her fans on Saturday, despite rumors that her marriage is in trouble.

The 54-year-old singer, who spent her second wedding anniversary on the opposite coast from husband Ben Affleck, shared three new photos on social media, which she captioned with an upbeat message.

“Today is going to be a great day,” she wrote, along with a heart and praying hands emoji. “Happy Saturday everyone ☀️”

A selfie taken in her bathroom shows JLo looking at the camera wearing a white halter t-shirt with a pair of white jeans and a brown leather belt.

Her hair was pulled back in a sleek bun and her makeup looked camera-ready with a glossy neutral lip.

She looked ready to run errands, holding a large brown leather shoulder bag.

In two photos from her bed, the singer wore large gold hoop earrings.

One photo shows the mother-of-two smiling with her mouth closed, while the other shows her flashing a wide grin.

Fans of the hitmaker went crazy over the new snaps.

“This is a new JENERATION,” wrote one adoring admirer. “Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ Happy Saturday Jennifer! You got that glow!!!,” exclaimed one fan.

Others have mentioned his upcoming birthday, July 24.

“Happy Birthday ❤️✨,” one fan wrote, while another got a little more personal with, “Next week YOU on the 24th and me on the 26th, we will celebrate life… Always smile, you are the joy and take care of us all. Love you baby…✨”

Lopez and Affleck separately celebrated their second wedding anniversary in Las Vegas on July 16. They hosted a more lavish ceremony for family and friends on August 23, 2022.

Neither has spoken publicly about their alleged issues, but the couple exposed their different approaches to life in their documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, released earlier this year.

Lopez acknowledged that her husband didn’t seem “very comfortable with me doing all this,” referring to the fact that she was so open about her private life.

“He loves me, he knows I’m an artist and he’s going to support me in any way he can because he knows you can’t stop me from making the music that I’ve made,” she said. “But that doesn’t mean he’s comfortable being a muse.”

In the film, Affleck took a reasoned approach: “When we got back together, I thought, ‘Look, one of the things I don’t want is a social media relationship,’ and then I realized that’s not a fair thing to ask for. It’s kind of like if you were going to marry a boat captain and you said, ‘Well, I don’t like the water.'”
