Galaxy Buds 3 Pro shipping again after delay due to quality issues

The Galaxy Buds 3 series arrived about a month ago as Samsung’s latest TWS earbuds. However, buyers of the “Pro” model were disappointed due to quality control issues, forcing the company to temporarily halt sales and suspend shipments. Now, it seems that everything is resolved as Samsung is resuming shipping of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

For the past few hours, some Redditors have been reporting receiving their new premium earbuds. The company is moving up the estimated shipping date listed on its website. Following the quality control issues, the Samsung Store began indicating that buyers would receive the earbuds on August 28. However, fortunately, the wait was much shorter.

Samsung resumes shipping of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro after quality control issues

According to reports, the first batch of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro faced quality control issues. Users mentioned that the eartips were very fragile and tore easily when trying to remove them. Uneven gaps and even misaligned LED lights were also present. After numerous complaints, Samsung acknowledged the issues and offered refunds to those who had pre-ordered the earbuds.

Interestingly, the Samsung Store still lists August 28 as the estimated date to receive the earbuds. The white variant has an even further date (September 20). However, given what we’ve seen, it’s possible that your Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will ship sooner. Keep in mind that this isn’t certain as there’s no official word on it yet.

The Galaxy Buds 3 series brought the biggest overhaul in the history of Samsung’s TWS earbuds. For this, the company hired Hubert Lee, former design director of Mercedes-Benz China. However, a report claims that the Samsung chief was unhappy due to potential inspiration from Apple’s AirPods Pro lineup. Quality control issues also contributed to the tense situation. On the bright side, the earbuds have a high level of repairability.
