Love Island's Shaughna Phillips reveals shocking photo of her huge swollen lips after getting fillers but insists 'it's normal'

LOVE Island star Shaughna Phillips shocked fans by revealing her very puffy lips.

The 30-year-old refused to go online for a few days after undergoing filler injections and was left with a very painful pout.

But today, after the swelling subsided, Shaughna finally gave her fans a glimpse of her lips, insisting it was normal despite their shocked appearance.

She said, “It’s only right that I show you how bad they were.

“Full disclosure, it wasn’t a surprise, that’s not how I made them or anything like that.

“It was literally the Russian method of making you swell up, but I swelled up.”

Shaughna then posted a instant of them and said, “Guys, I was really going through this.”

Russian lips are a style favored by Katie Price and increase the height and volume of the pout by injecting the filler vertically.

According to one clinic, it is very common to experience swelling, bruising and discomfort in the days that follow.

Shaughna, a mother of one, rose to fame during the winter Love Island series in 2020.

In 2022, the star had all of her lip fillers removed because she wanted to change the appearance of her lips.

She said at the time: “I was so hesitant to get my lips dissolved because, honestly, I don’t even remember what I look like without them!

“But there’s more to life than the size of your damn lips… I’ll be back in 2 weeks and start over, this time I’ll do a little here and there so I can really get the shape, I can’t wait.”

Shaughna also had breast augmentation and liposuction for medical reasons.

After going on Love Island she was diagnosed with lipedema which, according to the NHS, is “an abnormal build-up of fat in the legs and sometimes arms, which can be painful and affect daily life”.

Speaking about her procedures, she previously told us: “To be fair, all the liposuction I’ve had has been medically necessary, but maybe £25,000

“I’ve had liposuction on my thighs and calves, and I had my boobs done years ago. It’s a lot moneybut it was right after Love Island, so I think I almost felt like I had to do it.

“I felt like everyone was looking at me, but if I had known how painful it was, maybe I wouldn’t have done it.”
