AWS Batch adds support for canceling queued jobs

AWS Batch now supports canceling jobs while they are waiting in the queue. This allows you to cancel jobs before they are executed. Additionally, if you are using the fair share scheduling feature, you can cancel jobs with an outdated priority to make room for jobs submitted by other users in the same queue to progress. Jobs that are canceled while they are waiting in the queue will be moved to the FAILED state.
