A COUPLE with a 22-year age difference have revealed how they finally met.

Sav and Mars have now been together for five years, having met when Sav was just 20 and he was 42.

But their huge age difference didn’t deter them from each other, in fact, Sav revealed that she purposely went looking for an older man.

Recounting how they met, Sav said: “We met on Tinder. I had my settings as high as I could go.

“I was after my Robert Downey Jr from New Zealand.”

After initially starting a conversation on the dating app, they moved to Facebook where they communicated on and off for nine months.

Sav reveals that the couple had no intention of meeting in person, but fate had other plans for them.

She decided to go to the club with her friends one night, something she rarely does.

While she was there, her friend nudged her and let her know that there was a man who kept staring at her.

To Sav’s surprise, it was Mars and the couple danced the night away before heading to the following bar.

Afterwards Sav couldn’t come home and she stayed at Mars’s, being a true gentleman he let her have the bed while he stayed on the couch.

In the morning, she gave Mars a kiss on the lips and immediately knew she had to be with him.

“My whole body was like, ‘This is you,'” she said.

“You have to keep going in this direction. And I’ve never had that before.”

A year later, the couple was official and five years later, they are still together.

Sav added: “And we’re as happy as we can be. And we hope you’re happy for us. It might not be the case for everyone, but that’s the way it goes.”

The clip posted on their YouTube account @SavMars was a hit with fans with over 30,000 views.

Many people shared their thoughts in the comments, with some even saying they thought her partner was actually her father.
