Many wedding dresses can set you back thousands of pounds on their own, but savvy brides have found a secret to getting their dream gown for a bargain price.

On social media, brides of 2024 have revealed how they got their dresses for under £100.

Although there are many commercially available wedding dresses, they can often be ill-fitting because they are not tailored to your body shape.

But now brides have found a clever trick to make them fit like a glove without spending hundreds of dollars.

Taking to the Facebook group Weddings On A Budget UK, one bride revealed: “Aliexpress dress review! Paid £62.28 including postage.”

“The online store was absolutely lovely, they took all my measurements and kept me updated on the build constantly!

“It took about 6 weeks to arrive, but it fit like a glove! I added a loop underneath so I could lift it up, which is comfortable and lightweight too! It wasn’t too hot or too cold. It didn’t fall off.”

It turns out that in some stores, you can click on the dress you want and customize it to your exact measurements rather than choosing a standard size.

In addition to standard sizes, there is a “custom size” button on the far right so you can make your wedding dress fit like a glove.

And the bride wasn’t the only one impressed by the standards of Aliexpress wedding dresses.

She added: “I just wanted to give a quick overview of my AliExpress wedding dress if anyone is hesitant to purchase one.

“I absolutely loved my dress, made by a seller on AliExpress called ‘Sansa Prom Dress Store’. The seller was really responsive to my needs.

“I gave her my measurements and she made it to my size, and I asked her to change a backless dress to one with fabric in the back so I could wear a bra and she did it.”

She revealed the dress cost £88, but it came to £103 in total after postage and tax.
