Air Canada Vacations invites Canadians to share their vacation highlights

Air Canada Vacations is excited to unveil its latest initiative, the fall/winter “Vacation Mood” brand campaign. Designed to captivate Canadians from August 15 to September 8, 2024, this social media-driven campaign focuses on community engagement by encouraging travellers to share their vacation moods on social media. Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag #MyVacationMood and tag @aircanadavacations for the opportunity to be featured on their platforms. This initiative aims to foster a vibrant community of travellers sharing authentic experiences and connections.

“We want to inspire Canadians to dream about their next vacation by inviting them to have their say through our campaign,” said Nino MontagneseVice President of Air Canada Vacations. “By creating authentic and emotional connections through travel, we celebrate how we feel and bring ourselves together through travel.”

The campaign includes digital and social media promotions, the “My Vacation Mood” contest and strategic out-of-home advertising in major Canadian cities, showcasing a variety of engaging vacation moods and moments.

“Given that travel planning is often inspired by social media and recommendations from friends and family, it seemed natural to ask Canadians to share their vacation moods so others can discover new adventures, destinations and unique travel experiences,” said Selma FilaliSenior Director of Marketing and E-Commerce at Air Canada Vacations.

Additionally, Air Canada Vacations is launching its 2024/2025 digital Sun Guide, featuring a wide range of over 600 all-inclusive travel packages and sun-soaked getaways to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. To celebrate the launch, it is offering Canadians the chance to win a week-long all-inclusive vacation to Riviera Maya, a destination renowned for its breathtaking beaches and lush green landscapes.
