Kaia Gerber Welcomes Fall With This Transitional Date Night Outfit

Regardless, it looks like I’m not the only one gearing up for cooler days this week, as Kaia Gerber just stepped out on the town looking SO ready to make the transition to fall too.

The model was spotted out with her Hollywood beau, Austin Butler, last night in New York City, where the pair eventually met up with FKA Twigs and Julia Fox for dinner. Continuing their streak of coordinating outfits, the couple opted for neutral tones and Gerber offered a lesson on how to dress for that awkward time between seasons.

For her base, Gerber chose a black mini dress from Susamusa, which was sleeveless and had a bateau neckline, creating a column-like silhouette around her body. Normally, this piece would work perfectly on its own, but the Down The star helped combat the evening chill by layering a beige trench coat.

To match the dress, Gerber carried Celine’s medium Tilly bag in black, and she wore a pair of knee-high leather boots in the same shade. Finally, she accessorized her outfit with a pair of small silver hoop earrings.

Butler, meanwhile, coordinated with Gerber, wearing an all-black outfit consisting of a tee layered under a cardigan and paired with jeans, combat boots and a trucker hat. Elvis The actor is ready for boot and cardigan season.
